The Edinburgh clinic, established in 2012, is based at Craiglockhart Leisure Centre. A range of Podiatry services is on offer - primarily Chiropody and Podiatric Acupuncture - in addition to complementary healthcare in the far-reaching form of Reflexology.

Routine Chiropody home visits are also available in the Crieff and Comrie areas.   This aspect of the practice has been successfully running since 2009.

Lindsey Semple began her Podiatry studies at Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh) in 2006 and attained her BSc in Podiatry with distinction.   She was also awarded the Gilbert Oliver Memorial Prize for Clinical Practice in her final year, demonstrating her commitment towards and flair for the clinical work of a Podiatrist.   She is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, undertaking regular Continuing Professional Development in order to keep aware of the latest trends in her profession.

Prior to establishing Edinburgh Podiatry & Reflexology, Lindsey gained significant expertise with Edinburgh Podiatry Clinic, specialising in Biomechanics and Sports Podiatry, treating patients from all spheres, including Scottish Rugby Union and Scottish Institute of Sport athletes.   Lindsey also practised as a Specialist Podiatrist with NHS Tayside.   Her focus was Chiropody and Nail Surgery, treating a wide range of patients, including higher-risk patients with conditions such as diabetes, arthritis and circulatory/respiratory/neurological disorders.

Lindsey attained her International Therapy Examination Council Diploma in Reflexology with credit from Edinburgh Therapy Academy in 2008.   She is a member of the Association of Reflexologists.   She successfully treats a broad spectrum of patients who choose Reflexology for both general relaxation and to help various health problems including fatigue, stress, anxiety, fertility concerns, digestive disorders, migraine headaches, hormonal issues, respiratory conditions, depression, musculoskeletal pain, multiple sclerosis and recovery from cancer and stroke.

Lindsey qualified in Podiatric Acupuncture in 2011 and was privileged to train with Dr Anthony Campbell, retired Consultant Physician at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital.   She is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.

Lindsey's skills and experience in Podiatry and Reflexology allow her to achieve her vision of providing a complete and holistic service for all her patients, encompassing both orthodox and complementary medicine.

Lindsey is also an Equine Sports Massage Therapist, qualifying with world-renowned Veterinary Chartered Physiotherapist Mary Bromiley MBE (2010).   Prior to this, she qualified in Remedial & Sports Massage with Scottish Massage Schools (2006). She has an interest in Pilates & Yoga as remedial tools and completed Pilates Matwork 1-3 training, covering basic to advanced movements, with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (2016).   She completed the Yoga Scotland Foundation Course (2014) and is also qualified in Reiki 1 (Lendrick Lodge, 2007).   Lindsey draws on all of this varied therapeutic knowledge and experience when treating her patients.
